These Terms and Conditions of Service govern your use of any OBEDIA service and the OBEDIA Web site. By purchasing any OBEDIA service or using, visiting, or browsing the OBEDIA Web site, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions of Service, you should not purchase any OBEDIA service or use the OBEDIA Web site. These Terms and Conditions of Service are an ongoing contract between you and OBEDIA and apply to your purchase of any OBEDIA service and use of the OBEDIA Web site. Subscriptions will automatically renew until canceled. An email will be sent a 3 days prior to the renewal to give you the option to cancel or change your subscription type. You must the cancel either from within your client control panel or by calling and getting email verification from an OBEDIA representative that you wish to discontinue.
Subscriptions may be cancelled via your OBEDIA user account control panel, or by calling OBEDIA during normal business hours. Once billed, subscriptions are non-refundable. |

OBEDIA LLC reserves the right, from time to time, with or without notice to you, to change these Terms and Conditions of Use in our sole and absolute discretion. Definitions | ||
OBEDIA provides technical training and support to users of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). A DAW is defined as a system comprising a host computer, one or more MIDI or Audio Software applications, and various input and/or output peripherals, designed for the purpose of creating, recording, editing, mixing and producing Audio or Music. Some products can and will be supported by scheduling if an expert is not readily available. OBEDIA will disclose in advance of point deduction if we can assist any given issue in an accepted time frame for a client. | ||
Supported Products | ||
Our list of supported computer operating systems, software applications and peripherals is constantly evolving as new products come on to the market. The current list of supported products can be found on the OBEDIA Website via the following link: supported products. We reserve the right not to provide services for any non supported product, including but not limited to unsupported third-party applications or hardware, "cracked" or illegally-acquired software, and other applications. | ||
Technical Support Incident | ||
When a customer calls for technical support, a case is opened and a unique number is assigned to that case. Each case may comprise one or more problems, called incidents, that require a resolve. An incident is defined as a specific discrete problem with its own specific resolution. OBEDIA in its sole discretion will determine what constitutes a Technical Support Incident. Expiration | ||
Session minutes are active with subscription term. Additional purchased minutes or legacy pay as you go minutes expire 1 year from date of purchase. You will be notified via your message center as the expiration date approaches. Promotional Points expire as indicated. An active OBEDIA Subscription is required in order to utilize OBEDIA credits on your user account. If a subscription is not active, time banked to your account is unavailable until your subscription is reactivated. | ||

Phone, On-line and Remote Desktop Support | ||
OBEDIA provides technical training and support via telephone, remote desktop, on-line message center, video and text tutorials. This service is a paid service charged by pre-purchased purchased POINTS applied per minute by phone, remote desktop or per-incident for the on-line message center as outlined in our Rates and Services. Phone and remote desktop points are not deducted until the customer is talking with an OBEDIA technician. Points can be purchased in advance by an authorized OBEDIA retailer or the OBEDIA website. If the call is a technical support call it may consist of a number of incidents. OBEDIA will make its best efforts to bring a resolution to the incidents as defined in the Paragraph Technical Support Incident, but we are not liable for any events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. | ||
